Coming soon (maybe)Nota
Know what the doctor said. Nota records a doctor visit, transcribes it on the iPhone and turns it into a plain-language summary: what the doctor said, which questions got answered, and what happens next.
How it works
One button for the parent. Every summary for the family.
An adult child sets Nota up and sees every visit. The parent only has to press Start Visit.
Record the visit
The doctor is asked before every recording, and the answer is kept with the audio. If they say no, the patient can dictate a recap instead.
Summarized on the phone
Transcription and the summary run on the iPhone. Older iPhones still record and transcribe, and a newer one in the family writes the summary.
Questions, answered or not
Write questions before the visit and see afterwards which ones the doctor covered, partly covered or skipped.
One medication list
A shared list keeps everyone on the same doses. Changes the doctor mentioned show up as suggestions with the quote, and nothing changes without a tap.
Private by design
Audio never leaves the patient's iPhone, and everything that syncs is end-to-end encrypted. Not even Nota can read it.
Family by consent
Family members see nothing until the patient agrees on their own phone.
Not a medical device. Nota reports what was said. It never diagnoses, interprets results or suggests treatment, and every summary says the doctor's instructions come first.
Coming soon. Maybe.
Nota isn't on the App Store yet, and whether and when it ships is still being decided. The latest lives at notalistens.com.
