Loqui
Speak. We'll write.
Hold a key, say what you mean, let go. Loqui transcribes entirely on your Mac with Apple's on-device speech engine, fixes the words it usually gets wrong, strips the "ums", and pastes the result wherever your cursor is.
// ARMORY · 03 MAC APPS · 03 IOS APPS
Three native Mac utilities, free, signed and notarized with Apple. Plus three iOS apps. Each one does a single job and gets out of the way.

Light or Dark, in one keystroke.
A tiny menu bar app that flips your whole Mac between Light and Dark mode with a global hotkey. Press ⌃⌥⌘D from any app, or record your own. A sun or moon in the menu bar always shows which mode you're in.
Your mute button. Finally wired to Teams.
Over Bluetooth the Jabra Speak2 75 has no HID channel, so Microsoft Teams never hears its mute button. Jabronie bridges the two in both directions and shows your live state as a luchador mask in the menu bar.
The card game that plays the broadcast.
Live multiplayer card game for game night. Seven cards each, tap when it happens on the field, somebody sips, you bank the points. Stake them on real lines in The Book. Runs on its own room server so the whole couch plays together.
Know what the doctor said.
Nota records a doctor visit, transcribes it on the iPhone and turns it into a plain-language summary: what the doctor said, which questions got answered and what happens next. An adult child sets it up and sees every summary; the parent only has to press one button. Audio never leaves the phone and everything that syncs is end-to-end encrypted.
Outfits from your own closet.
Photograph the pieces you own, name a muse (a celebrity, an icon, whoever's style you'd steal), and tell it the moment. In about a minute you get four complete looks, every one built from clothes already in your closet. Save the ones you love, plan them onto the week and log what you wore. Kiley's idea from the start; public beta coming soon.
